Monday 19th February 2018, 10am-4.30pm
Head Gardener Fergus Garrett will lead this Study Day held at Great Dixter House and Gardens. Refreshments and lunch are included and we are offering a 10% discount on plant sales for attendees in the nursery on the day.
This look behind the scenes takes you through the preparation and planning involved in getting a complex garden like Great Dixter ready through the winter for spring and summer. It will include the garden timetable, composting and soil preparation, weeding, thinning out of self-sowers, working off of boards, splitting, dividing and planting self-sowers, timing of seed sowing and pricking out, choosing annuals for adding to the display and a brief when and how to prune. All in all it's an in depth 'how to'.
Please note: upon payment you will receive an email with booking
reference and confirmation of the booking. Study Days can be booked worldwide.
